Anshin origami menstrual tampon (Japan, 1977)
Instructions

I show a small version of the first page in color; a black-and-white enlargement sits below it. The drawings show the origami feature. The page measures 6" x 8 1/4" (21 x 15 cm).

In 1997 Tambrands gave the box to this museum as part of an amazing gift of 450 boxes of tampons dating to the founding of the second Tampax company, 1936, plus hundreds of other items.

See the second page of the instructions.
