Below: A FISTULA
is a passageway produced by disease or injury
between organs or to the outside of the body.
Childbirth can damages
tissue and create a fistula between the bladder and vagina or in
other places.
Urine then continually leaks from the body
through the vagina, a condition that Dr. Marion Sims corrected by experimenting
for years on slaves he owned, a controversial
story.
