Ad for fake menstrual pad company

Menstrual products advertising - all
advertising, actually - lends itself
to parody.
This is the first in a series of ads
I made in 1989 for the fake company I
invented, Lernpaks (compare Tampax).
Because I did not yet own a computer I
drew the art with colored pencils and
pressed off the text I wrote using
pressure-sensitive type, one
excruciating letter after another, on
a piece of illustration board. For a
day job I worked as an illustrator,
graphic designer and artist.
I believe I made four ads for the
company, now buried in the museum
archives.
