Ad for a Pursettes menstrual tampons Educational Kit (1965)

Pursettes, a tampon with a lubricated tip, and no longer produced, made this ad offering teaching aids in September 1965. Somebody at Tambrands typed the information at the top of the ad.

Look at the cover of the Pursettes Getting to Know Yourself booklet for the same photo below; that booklet is offered in this ad.

See the covers of two more teaching guides from Modess (1962 and 1973) and one from Tampax and a teacher's educational kit from Modess from the early 1950s.

The Tambrands (former maker of Tampax) research library generously donated the ad to MUM.
